Transformation of Public Administration in Kazakhstan: Learning Agile methodology

From July 25 to 26, 2024, two-day Agile transformation trainings were held in Astana, organized for the teams of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These trainings have become a significant step in the integration of flexible methodologies into public administration processes.

As part of the training, participants received a comprehensive introduction to the key principles of Agile, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies. The training covered the best practices of applying these methodologies in government institutions, with an emphasis on improving interaction within teams and optimizing project management systems.

The training was conducted by experienced Agile coaches Roman Baranov and Evgeny Pustilnik. During the session, participants were presented with the Agile Development manifesto, Agile application areas, Scrum roles and artifacts, as well as Kanban differences.
