Kostanay Engineering and Economic University held a round table dedicated to scientific and innovative cooperation expansion and the opening of a branch of the National Engineering Academy. The meeting was attended by the QazInnovations management, scientists, representatives of the R&D laboratory for artificial intelligence and robotics, the Center for Robotics and Automation "IDS Metra Robotics", "FACTOR System Research Company" LLP, "Allur" JSC. Opportunities for partnership with business, joint activities in scientific research and development were discussed; modernization of personnel training and support for innovative projects as well. The participants visited the university's well equipped laboratories. Sanat Akhanov, QazInnovations Board Chairman speaking with the topic "Universities as centers of the space for creating innovations", emphasized the need to create special innovation programs in educational institutions and noted the importance of motivation for students. Already during the training, they should be involved in work. Enterprises should be in contact with universities and invite young people to paid practice. This will give confidence to future professionals. Also, the QazInnovations team was invited to the Saryarka AvtoProm plant, where all stages of car assembly were demonstrated, and to the Zhas Kanat poultry farm.
