The strategic session organized by QazInnovations took place on November 10, 2023 with the participation of Chairman of the Committee on Ecology and Nature Management of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Zhanbyrshin Edil Terekbayuly, Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Agency for the Development of Innovations "QazInnovations" - Akhanov Sanat Zholdyhanovich, and gathered experts, industry representatives and scientists from various fields, representatives of the state to discuss key aspects of the development of legislative measures that promote innovation in the field of GreenTech. The event was designed to create a platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas, which will help determine the best ways to develop the sector and develop effective legislative measures. During the session, the participants discussed many important aspects, including, but not limited to:

• Assessment of the current state of GreenTech and identification of areas that require attention and support from legislators.
• Analysis of existing legislative acts and regulations, as well as proposals for their improvement.
• Consideration of financing and investment issues in the GreenTech sector.
• Consideration of the international experience of legislative stimulation of green technologies. The session resulted in the development of several recommendations and proposals that will be transmitted to interested parties and legislators to improve the legislative framework and stimulate innovation in the field of GreenTech.
